PREDICT-IMpact

The PREDICT clinical trial aims to assess the utility of trio germline whole genome sequencing delivered to children with cancer at diagnosis. Running alongside this trial is the PREDICT-Impact study, which is a psychosocial study aiming to assess the psychosocial impact for families participating in PREDICT.
Participants include parents (of patients aged ≤ 21 years), patients (aged 12-21), and healthcare professionals (oncology clinicians and genetics professionals).

SMOC JUNIOR IMPACT

SMOC Junior Impact is the psychosocial component of SMOC Junior: a Surveillance study in Multi-Organ Cancer predisposition syndromes in paediatrics.
The objective of SMOC Junior is to identify the prevalence/incidence of investigable lesions by screening in children with Cancer predisposition syndromes. Running alongside this trial, SMOC Junior Impact aims to assess the psychosocial impact for families participating in SMOC junior.
