Workshop program

Workshop program
The BSU runs an annual program of research workshops.

  • Writing a literature review: This workshop includes developing search terms, relevant search engines, utilising systematic search techniques, tabling and presenting your results.
  • Qualitative methodology
        Rigorous methodology is required when conducting qualitative research; this seminar includes                  semi structured interview design, interviewing techniques for quality data, coding with NVivo, 
        reliability testing, and analysis.
  • Statistical analysis  
        Basic statistics for researchers - from descriptive statistics, graphs and tables,  through to
        regression analysis.
  • Ethics applications
        What is a NEAF, SSA, multi-site trials, standard rules and common pitfalls.
